Orion Ornamental Iron offers one of the most extensive lines of Drapery Hardware in the industry, according to Sunil Patel, CEO.  “We bring a great deal of variety and creative opportunities to the professional design in the area of decorative curtain rods and other drapery hardware.  In addition, we provide iron finials, as well as finials in crystal, wood and resin.  All are offered in 78 finishes, plus custom finishes.”

Orion recently introduced four additional finishes for its popular Iron Art line of curtain hardware: Ivory, Pure White, Oil Rubbed Bronze and Metal Ore.  The company now offers 35 Iron Art finishes for its drapery hardware and decorative curtain rods. Orion, which sells wood and iron decorative Curtain Hardware and rods up to 30 feet in length, in traversing and non-traversing styles, makes all of them available as custom curtain rods or in standard lengths, in custom and standard finishes.

Earlier, the company introduced its Tuscany Traversing line as an expansion of the Designers’ Choice traversing hardware line. This drapery hardware line includes heavy duty traversing curtain hardware in both iron and wood, with single and double traversing rods, all with track available in four designer finishes.

The 2011 ADEX competition attracted over 3000 entries which were judged by a panel of professionals representing a cross section of experts from the design industry.

ADEX stands for Awards for Design Excellence and is the largest and most prestigious awards program for product design of hardware, furniture, etc. marketed to the design trade.  Design Journal, the international traditional publication for interior designers and architects, has sponsored the awards since 1994.

Orion Ornamental Iron announces that it has won three awards from the Window Covering Manufacturers Association (WCMA) during the WCMA’s annual competition. Winning Drapery Hardware products are recognized for their technical innovations and enhancements, style concepts and overall designs.

Orion won Best New Style Concept for Drapery Hardware for its two unique lines of crystal finials: Bohemia Collection, decorative, hand-crafted, faceted crystal finials, and KBlair Finials, mouth-blown, hand-cut, 24% full lead crystal finials.   Recognizing today’s wide variety of decorative styles and budgets, Orion offers the two distinctive lines of crystal finials to meet the needs of a diverse customer base. The Bohemia line is used on iron rods; the KBlair line is used on wood drapery rods.

Orion Ornamental Iron announces the introduction of its new Bohemia Drapery Hardware line.  The Bohemia line consists of decorative, hand-crafted, faceted Crystalique finials.  “We are offering our Bohemia Collection with the look, sparkle and glamour of crystal, without the usual high prices,” says Atul Patel, President of Orion. “Bohemia prices will continue to be around $50-$75/each retail, which makes them very accessible in today’s market.”

The drapery hardware line is hand-crafted of crystal-glass to produce Orion’s unique Bohemia finials and now includes 20 faceted finials in unique shapes and sizes.  The collection is designed to fit three sizes of curtain rods: ¾”, 1”, and 1-1/4”, all in round iron curtain rods.  These curtain rods are available in Orion’s 31 Iron Art Finishes, as well as 6 contemporary metal plated iron finishes.
